I also use two class periods to finish most kinder projects.
Today, I read Oodles of Animals and we recognized shapes in the
room. Next week, they will get a pile of cut construction paper
shapes to assemble and glue down. Texture rubbings are always a
hit. I love reading books and launching lessons off those. There
are several that come to mind that I have used in the last
month....The Art Lesson, by Tomi DePaola, Big Blue Spot, The
Little Scarecrow, Ish, Dot....those are the ones that come to
mind.
