Just like a contract, you do not have to sign the prepared
statement, which is probably designed to get the heat off the
administration and onto you. Get advice from a lawyer. Make
sure you have representation at any meeting about this
incident. I have had run ins with administrators where they
simply did not pay attention by having thirty students in a
class and then adding severely disabled kids on top of that. We
are human and there's only so much a person can do. The kids
are probably covering up.
