    Jenna,

    Don't get discouraged. I really think the key to getting any
    job is getting out there and talking to the people doing the
    hiring. It's easier to sell yourself in person than on
    paper. When I graduated from my program it was December, I
    got hired the following February for a Title I position. I
    called the lady over the program and she scheduled an
    interview for me before I even got the application in. Then
    I got my gen. ed. position after the following year had
    already started. I heard about the position and called the
    principal. She scheduled my interview without seeing an
    application simply from talking to me. Let them know you
    want it! :-) Good luck!
