    Post: Just joined

    Hi!
I have just joined the mailring and checked on the
chatboard. I am hoping to learn more about this brain
based learning. I did burn out this year, I have 22 years
of experience in the classroom and have my NBCT in early
childhood. I have changed techniques over the years, but
I really felt like I really missed the mark with too many
of my students this year. Most of them made progress or
at least tested out that they did, but on a daily basis
they were so needy and I just couldn't help them enough.
I did have health problems which added to the burn out,
but I am spending the summer rejuvenating and relearning
    what to do with kiddos.
If you have any suggestions please let me know. I just
bought one of Jensen's books to read.
    Thanks!
