Re: threat
Posted by MSR on 5/16/08

Thank goodness I have never been in this situation myself
howewver, I think the previous poster who said that teachers
taking matters into their own hands could be fired is not off the
    mark.

I recently read a post on both the administration board and the
Nevada board in which a teacher saw a drug bust go down on school
property and immediately called the police without consulting the
    principal.

He said the principal was furious with him and has been making
his life miserable. She is trying to find ways to get rid of him.

The principal looks negligent if the police come calling about an
incident and he or she has no idea what is going on.

Calling the police is tempting if the principal refuses to do
something about it, but it is still not a good idea.

How about talking to the superintendent? At least this way you
are still seeking help from administration and not taking matters
    into your own hands.
