Last year, I taught freshmen history and this year I taught sophomores. I teach in NYC and we have regents test, where the sophomores (most who have had me both years) have to pass a hard test with material from both years. The problem is, I have been learning it as I go along and I have noticed the holes in the kids knowledge. Now I feel like I have to re teach two years in two weeks to give these kids half a shot at passing the test. What do I do? I already feel horrible about this situation.
