Introduction expressing your excitement about working with the students Class Rules and Consequences How you will grade: will every grade count the same will test grades be worth 50% will daily grades be worth 50% Grading is a teacher decision in my district. You may include a few end of year outcomes. You will want to send a supply list for your class home also. If you do a google search for 7th grade English, 8th Grade English, etc you will find a lot letters to parents. I do this every year.
