I think it is more about HOW we do school instead of school
itself. One irritating thing is the adoption of every new
program (aka fad) out there if there is some link with that
program and increased test scores. It's kind of like the diet
industry.
-Fat is the problem. -No, it is just saturated fat. -Carbs are
the problem. -No, it is just sugar. -Exercise is all you have to
do. -It's all about calories in vs calories out. you don't have
to exercise. -Crunches shrink your waist. -Cardio burns the most
fat. -Steady state low intensity cardio is the best for weight
lost. (The "fat loss zone" on those machines). -High intensity
interval training is the best way to lose weight. -Resistance
training is the best way to lose weight. -Etcertera -Green tea
helps with weight loss.
Don't you feel like we are sold on things like this by the
education industry/colleges?
