I would agree with that in some cases for sure. In many cases it's
obvious, at lease in our community, when a student is part of a
church youth group or even a group like rotary. From my point of
view, being part of any organization that promotes the assistance and
empathy of others is a positive for education. We are all aware of
any organization that uses it's influence for unsavory ends, church
or otherwise. This could be true for any organization.
