To be honest, you can't be picky when looking for your first
job. I have an elementary certificate and have been looking for
a job for a year. I have applied EVERYWHERE within driving
distance. Even in schools that may not meet high standards have
hired teachers with more teaching experience, a lot more
experience. I always heard that school districts would want to
hire me b/c I am cheap (no experience, and only a bachelor's
degree) But I have been called for 7 teaching interviews and all
but 1 admitted they hired a candidate over me solely because
they had experience. I need help standing out as well, but being
choosy when looking for a job, especially right now, is not the
    way to be.
