This is my first time posting, but I wanted to say that
right before leaving for the break, I finished reading The
Tale of Desperaux to my 4th graders and they ALL (even my
boys) LOVED this book!!!

Has anyone else ever read it? Did your kids love it as much
as mine did? I'd love for others to share their favorite
read alouds!!!

I've been teaching for eight years and have a lot of
favorite read alouds, but I'm always interested in hearing
more!!

I agree. I have read this for 2 year to my third grade
students and they enjoy every moment. They are waiting on
pins and needles to find out what happens next.

I've read it aloud to my 2nd graders for 3 years now. They love
it. The movie comes out in October...:o) Mae
