Re: Give Three Book Suggestions

I'm between classes this summer (I'm working on another degree, and
classes last 2 weeks during the summer), so I've recently read (and
thoroughly enjoyed) the following titles that I will add to my classroom
library:
The Host--Stephenie Meyer (her first novel for adults, but I know my 8th
graders who enjoy that genre will like it).
The Rules of Survival--Nancy Werlin (read the book in its entirety
yesterday; I couldn't put it down)
Maus--Art Spiegelman (graphic novel written in the 70s--it was phenomenal)
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian--Sherman Alexie
