Guided Reading in Kindergarten chat, Tues. Apr. 7, 9pm ET (8

Informal discussion, unmoderated, peer support in real time.
Just log on to read and post about guided reading in
kindergarten. Collaborate, suport, share ideas and ask
questions of teaching colleagues. (Volunteer moderators are
encouraged to contact kathleen@teachers.net. While chats do
not require a moderator, it is helpful to have a designated
person online to greet participants and encourage discussion.)

No pre-registration is required for participation in live
chats, you just log on at the time of the meeting. At the
start time go to http://teachers.net/chatrooms/meetings/,
click on "Enter Chatroom," then on "Enter Meeting."

Then type in the name you wish to use, providing your email
address is optional. Next click on "Join Chat."

Leave the "Send to:" box set to "Room" and type your text
into the long narrow box to the right. Then click on
"Update" to send your message to the screen.

If the screen freezes, try clicking on the green G in the
upper left frame to kick start it. :o)

You can practice during times when there is no meeting
scheduled.
