Rachael,
I hope you did not settle for this salary. My mother was an
assistant director at Bright Horizons in Pennsylvania and she
made 40,000 a year. She is now a director in Chicago and she
makes 47,000 per year. I work at KinderCare in the Chicagoland
area and make 29,500 as a Program Specialist, which is a third
in charge position. As a director you have much more
responsibilities than I do, and we would be making a similar
salary.
