Re: How do you handle biting?

    I think that this is a problem that you and the director need to meet with the parents
    about. The child needs a united front about no biting. If I were the parent of a child
    who was bitten, I would be very upset. You director needs to know that other
    parents are complaining and that something needs to be done before the facility get
    a negative reputation.

    Keeping the child's hands busy is one idea, plus redirecting. I believe that a thinking
    time away from the group is appropriate.
