Re: Re:to Schari or anyone...

I loved your answer here. Do you remember we emailed a couple times? FCC in the
Arkansas is at risk due to state funded pre-k programs and licensure changes. I am
making a presentation on " what FCC is" to a group of people that can make a
difference. I would like it to be dramatic, emotional and to the point. Do you have
any ideas on how you would present it? I have thought of showing pictures of
children with their providers that have a story. Dont we all? You know what I mean?
The lady across town that takes care of 5 siblings on state funds on the night shift for
a single mom. She is teaching them to sew and knit.... Not only is she giving them a
safe place to stay but memories and connections and life skills that they may not have
gotten otherwise . Would that happen in a center? I doubt it. Or- FCC's that have
had generations return for care. Anyone else have any ideas? I really need to make
    an impact.
