Re: How to handle a child who does not listen?

    Are you talking about one on one listening or group time?

    One on one, I make sure to get down on their level, get very
    close to them, hold their hands in mine, and speak calmly and
    quietly directly to them. Then I also hold them accountable
    for whatever I was telling them to do.

    Group time, I would make sure I was doing something of
    interest to them, letting them fully participate, and make it
    fun for them to listen and participate.
