Final exams run off, rubrics ready. 2. Final exam review materials prepared (hit all essential items from the final exam plus some red herrings) 3. All "regular" assignments graded, posted, and filed/returned to student 4. Make up work day scheduled 5. Make up work prepared (tests, writing assignments) 6. Last minute extra points (if you have this) items prepared 7. Storage space for textbooks and class materials cleaned up and ready for items when collected 8. Textbook/materials log (if you check out books) located and ready for last entries 9. If you still keep a paper grade book, go ahead and total the points now for less adding later 10. If you still keep a paper grade book, consider getting a Whaley grade book or going to a computerized grade book program for next year 11. Things that must go home for the summer (plants, animals) - prep the new space and take home now 12. Any last minute thank yous - get cards/presents/gift certificates now 13. Bribe school secretary for next year's school calendar (the real one with the dates for tests) 14. Decide which books and manuals must go home now, start storing in accessible location 15. Start cleaning out your desk 16. Have space prepared for this year's files, so you can drop in. This may mean discarding old files. 17. Take a careful look at your decorations and/or supplies - can it last another year, or do you need to replace? Start the order now. The whole idea behind this list is to prepare now, so that your last 1 or 2 days will be relatively relaxing.
