I happen to like to grade with a highlighter. I mark diagonally
thru incorrect answers and horizontally thru unanswered
questions. This way I can write over their answer, which makes
it harder for them to change their answer and tell me that I
graded it wrong.

Also if it is something that is to be corrected and regraded, I
regrade in a second color. This is a good way to use those
yellow markers also that come in sets that show up on anything.
