Here's a sample plan from my band class. It's a good example
of a stepped plan. I mostly stall on step 2 to give the
student and parents a chance to get problems worked out.
Occasionally I have a student who will make it to step 3. I've
not had a student make it to step 3 twice which is the nice
part of the system. There are built in intensives to keep this
from happening.
I have one rule and that's respect. Everything else is a
responsibility. If I notice a pattern of misbehavior then the
student moves to step 2 and responsibilities become rules with
consequences. Students want to keep on step 1 which keeps the
respectful. Link below.
