Re: Does Keyboarding belong in a high school?
Posted by kmt on 2/21/08

I believe that keyboarding should be taught at an earlier age
than high school. They should start around 3rd grade with
basic typing skills. As they enter middle school I believe
that the students should start learning the basic programs
such as word, powerpoint, excel and other programs. By the
time they are in High school they should be proficient in
order to complete projects and build electronic portfolios.
