    So if you & they understand the flow of a website (HTML for
    text, graphics and sounds are separate files) you should be
    able to write and hand-code simple html.

    If you want flash and the latest big thing - then you'll need
    some sort of program. IMnsHO most of which are beyond 3rd graders.
