Re: Typing books wanted
Posted by Steve on 4/21/08
OMG! I'm so sorry. I was just trying to make a joke. The word 'dinosaur' was meant to be a metaphor for anything old, obsolete and useless, which includes typing books, Victrola phonographs, Thomas Dixon novels and people older than age 65, which includes myself. Now, having played such a cruel joke on you, I feel a moral obligation to tell you where you might actually find such things as 1979 typing books. The best (probably only) source for such items would be online used book sellers like Abebooks, half.com or e-bay. Chances are, you're only going to find onesie twosies of whatever these are, and you'll probably have to end up xeroxing these for a class set. Good luck to you in any event, and sorry to be so cruel and insensitive.
