Posted by Lenae on 6/22/08 Hi! I am a 30 year veteran teacher who just left teaching to develop educational software. I want to know what teachers and technology directors feel their schools need in software. I am developing a site which includes literacy (book of the month) with related lesson plans, educational games for kids, diversity and character education activities, virtual field trips for kids, showcases of teachers and children doing wonderful things, etc. There will be consistent characters that the children will get to know and engage with. What do you think districts or schools are willing to pay for monthly or yearly subscriptions? Does this sound like something teachers would be interested in? Thanks for your feedback.
