Re: Problem copying files then reading disk
Posted by East End Long Islander on 8/25/08

What program are you using to burn the files to the CD? I use
Roxio ... I find other programs don't work as well.

HOWEVER, I also found that occasionally when I made a CD on
my home pc, pcs at work / school could not open them. It has
to do with the formatting of the CD. My computer teacher at
my school was able to open the files on her master pc, and
then save them to my space on the network, where I could
retrieve them from our room pc...

You may want to be sure whatever program you are using to
copy the files is saving them to a readable format, and not
    compressed for email or backup.
