    Post: creative project topics

    Posted by teach on 9/04/08

I teach several classes where students learn software. I
let them be creative by giving them a topic and letting them
pick the specifics to be included. For example, they may
practice making an international travel brochure. I would
give them guidelines and they'd pick the country.

I want to come up with a listing of project ideas that I
could tweak for whatever the software may be - word
    processing, graphics, websites, etc.

This is what I have so far:
Olympics (they'd pick the year/country to focus on)
    Favorite bands/musicians
    Favorite movie
    Favorite sports team
    Favorite vacation location
    Favorite hobby
    Favorite TV show

    Any other ideas?
