Re: Wikis

I use Wikispaces as well, but I am using the free accounts. I
am concerned that if my students each had their own, they would
create their own wikis and then use those wikis during
classtime as an unmoderated chatroom.
Granted, I teach at a 1-1 school, but I think that this could
be a potential problem. My school will not pay for a
customisable wiki, and while we have the wiki option with our
learning mangagement system (Angel Learning), I want something
that the general public can read.
So, I have my account in Wikispaces and have created *one*
student account. Granted, I can forsee a few problems with this
format, but at this point, I don't know of any other solution.
I have one class that will be working on the wiki this week. If
I have time, I'll post how it went.
