Re: Radio Shack not living up to extended warranty - rip off
    Posted by Bob/VA on 9/25/08

It was less a bad experience with RS than it was with a sales
critter who sold you the warranty and made X amount of $
    commission on the sale.
Chalk it up as a learning experience - you didn't get what
the sales critter told you in writing - therefore her
    assurances werent' worth spit.

If the warranty covers any needed repairs within the 3 year
period then it could save you money in the long run.
Batteries are not, generally speaking, a warranty item unless
they fail prematurely and within an extablished time period
and then the battery manufacturer generally has it's own
    warranty.
