    Post: connection problems
    Posted by: Kathy/WA on 5/12/09

A couple of weeks ago, my internet connection failed. I
determined that the cable I was using had a loose
connection, because it did not work on either my desktop
or my laptop and another cable worked on the laptop. I did
not try the other cable on the desktop as it is not long
enough to reach where it has to.

Now I have gotten the fixed cable back from my local ISP.
It works on the laptop, but on the desktop I get no
connection, and when I check in the control panel I find
under network connections "Network cable unplugged".

    Any suggestions?
