Re: Just found myself on zaba, with a map to my home!!!

ZABA is a for profit search site.
The information found by the ZABA site can be found by several
other for profit sites.
The information found by these search sites is obtained from
readily available public records. If you looked closely you'd
have seen that to gain access to the found information a
credit card is required. Now it is not beyond the realm of
possibility that one of your little darlings could use a
parent's credit card without their immediate knowledge. But
how likely, really, do you think that is?
Does ZABA, or any of the others, actually retain search
results on their servers? I can't answer that - try
contacting ZABA directly - I think there was a "contact us"
button on the site.
If one of your students you think is really dangerous the most
likely scenario for him/her to find out where you live is just
to follow you home one day.
For better, or worse, we live in the information age.
Removing information from the public record would most likely
require a court order where you'd have to show cause for
seeking such an order.
On 10/12/09, How can I get this removed permanently???? Please
