I am 46 years old. I live in NYC. I have a B.A. in Sociology (earned in 1994) and also an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences (earned in 1990). I worked 8 years as a sub teacher. However, the NYC Department of Education does not provide reference letters for sub teachers. My resume has more security guard experience than anything else. I hate security guard work for many reasons not to mention the terrible pay. Working security has hurt my chances to venture out into different jobs. At age 46, with falling hair, and no experience in anything but security guard work, what can I do to make the rest of my life more pleasant and to finally reach success? I welcome all replies. My dream job is to become a GED Instructor.
