About the workshop: What do you say when a child asks you a
difficult question about race? Border Crossers invites you
to participate in an exciting day of professional
development for teachers seeking tools and language to talk
about race with students. This is not a lecture or a
presentation – we will discuss our personal experiences of
critical moments with students, roleplay and learn theatre
techniques to explore issues of race and racism, and maybe
even start a movement!
You can interrupt the patterns of racism and injustice with
the words you choose to use. Join us!
