Hi! I was all set to go to Walden because they had a degree I
was looking for, however I just couldn't shake the mixed
comments. Plus, I know it's just better to get a degree from a
university that people have heard of instead of having to
explain to a future or current employer about the school. My
friend who works at State Farm in the HR department said she
called her headquarters and noone had heard of Walden. I know
it's a valid school, but I also know that not all their programs
are accredited. I decided to go w/ a public university. Both
are very reasonable tuition-wise (cheaper than Walden) and their
programs are completely online. I will post the links here.

(My Alma Mater and I am taking one class from here)

(Where I am getting my MA degree. As long as you stay in the
education field, and you take all classes online, you can get a
discount tuition rate for out of state residents of $366 per
credit hour)
Hope that helps! I know that I spent many hours researching
Walden and finally decided to go there just because they had the
degree I was looking for, however once I found it at a public
university, I switched right away. Oh, and I have heard of that
school that you are talking about only through researching
Walden, it's an actual accredited university but noone has heard
of it. Good Luck with your journey and let me know if you have
any other questions.
