I'm in the Special Ed. Masters Program at GCU (online). I'm
certified in FL, but did not have the classes for NY to
accept my certification.
You would need to check with your state's requirements about
adding Special Ed. to your existing certificate, but GCU has
been a reasonable and productive program for me. I take one
class a term which is very manageable.
