    well lets hope the position doesnt get cut due to budget...let them
    know how important the role of the school counselor is to the
    academic, personal/social, and career success of the students at
    there school and all that you can do to promote success. a
    portfolio is helpful. talking about the national model and how you
    plan to incorporate it into your program at the school is good. tie
    in academics to everything you talk about. good luck!
