Re: How to become a school counselor

    Well, it depends on which state you live in. You can
    contact your state's department of educator/counselor
    certification or some equivalent. Usually you need a
    masters degree in counseling (about 2 years), certification
    from the state to work as a school counselor (done while in
    masters program), and possibly a few years' teaching
    experience under your belt. If you post which state you live
    in, someone from there can give you more specifics.
