    I would suggest getting your son to an LCPC, a psychologist,
    or a psychiatrist. He could be dealing with depression or
    more. If he's willing to get help, you can give him the
    information he needs and offer to take him; but if he is not
    willing to get help, the best you can learn to do is help
    yourself. Being a parent to a child going through a mental
    health issue can be quite painful and sometimes, we as the
    parents, need the counseling also.
