Posted by Kat on 5/02/08 Hi everyone. I'm currently job hunting for an elementary counseling position and had 2 interviews with one school who just asked me back for a demo lesson. The counselors at the school I'm interning at now thought it was really strange they were making me do a demo lesson so I thought I'd ask....Have any of you found you've been asked to demo lessons? The law changed in NJ a year or 2 ago so counselors no longer have to have teaching experience before becoming school counselors. Just was curious to hear what you all think.
