I don't know about Broward County, but in Pinellas County it is unclear if we will have any open positions. We are closing three schools and cutting 140 district positions. All of these people have to be placed into open positions before any transfers or new hires will happen. You might want to contact the human resources office in Broward and see what kind of situation they are facing.
