    Wow, although I am not shocked at the school social worker's
    response. In my district, the school social workers at the
    elementary level are a small number and we have counselors at
    each elementary school. We each have very specific roles, but
    honestly, I believe the principals would say that they need
    and rely on the counselors. We recognize that not every
    district has counselors at the elementary level, so we work
    hard to stay connected to our principals.
