    I would def give the speech and then immediate attention to the
    students and the name of the friend that they are claiming is
    getting abused. As a counselor it is your responsibility to call
    ACS (Child protective services) on this situation even if the
    students may be exaggerating you do not want to take a risk,
    because you could get into trouble...By reporting this it will be
    further observed. If this statement is true then this child will
    be taken from the home, and will need your support and def an
    outside support system as well. Good Luck with the interview!!!
