I have some ideas in mind, but I would like to get others' persepctives. The essay is: "Discuss the reasons you wish to pursue a degree at this university. Focus on your long-term goals and how your academic program will complement those goals. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of your academic background, as well as any additional comments that will assist in evaluating your application materials." How would you respond to an essay like this? Obviously I have to personalize it, but what type of essay do you think the admissions committee is looking for? Most importantly and this is the part I am stuck on, do you have any examples of what weaknesses in academic background might be? Thanks. Any response is appreciated.
