Thank you! I agree that I'm going to take it slow in the beginning and do a few things well rather than a million things not so well + I'm just starting to think about that. Also, you were right, Ready, Set, Go is a fantastic resource! I'm just about finished reading it + it has gotten me excited to get started! One thing I'm concerned about is the fact that I have to run the Intervention and Referral Services meetings with the principal, teachers etc. to dicusss students who need different accomodations or possibly need to be seen by the Child Study Team. As counselors, do you all run these meetings in your school? Are you expected to give most of the feedback and suggestions or are there members on the team who do that such as special ed teachers? Any tips on this topic would be great! Also, how did you go about introducing yourself and your program to teachers, parents + students during your first year? Thanks agaiN!
