I have a new principal this year. She wants to controll
everything and check everything and change my programs. She
is a first year principal. I feel like I can not do my job
because she always wants to find fault. I have been a
school counselor for 3 years the first years were great
(different princ). I feel I can not work a this school next
year due to her. Don't you think the princ and counselor
should be more of a team?? She doesn't seem to see positive
things i do.. Like i said i had not one problem before her.
She takes away most of my work and she works with the
kids/parents!!! Many other staff members have complained to
the school district but they say she is coming back! I love
what I do but am searching in other schools now. Does
anyone have this problem with their principal?? Bottom line
she doesn't treat me with respect. Ellen
