Post: Counselors asked to Teach Classes

    Posted on 6/18/09

I am a middle school counselor who is being asked to teach
an elective class next year - I am not talking about
classroom guidance - I dont know how i will manage because
I run so many programs and dont know how i will deal with
issues like grading, discipline and leaving students who
have come to see me when its time to teach. Anybody in a
similar situation who can give me some tips? What do you
think about a counselor/teacher combo? I dont know what I
will teach yet, i have to invent something, maybe a career
class if i can find some materials
