I am beginning my nbc in school counseling and it feels
overwhelming. Especially since I've only had the requisite 3
years so that doesn't leave a lot of time to have had
documented accomplishments. This is not fun. The only
reason I'm doing it (besides the 12% raise!) is that a
counselor friend of mine said the process made her a better
counselor so I'm hoping it makes a difference in my
practice. I'm also being supervised for my LPC this year and
hoping some of the things I have to do will cross over.
Please feel free to communicate with me about this process.
