Keep your eyes and ears open for signs of abuse as you work
with this child. The fact that her parents will not get her
counseling worries me that there might be a reason BEYOND
financial reasons. I am not saying that this is probably
what it is. In fact, it probably isn't. But keep it on your
mind as you work with her.
Anything you do with her will probably require close work
with the parents.
