This is not entirely accurate. A friend of mine in VA is now certified after
graduating from UWA with the MSCE in Guidance and Counseling. However, the
certification process did require extra steps (which I am now undertaking).
Keep in mind, the M. Ed program in School Counseling at UWA is not open to
students who do not have a teaching background.
