Hi Everyone,
I am a school counseling grad student and am preparing a presentation on making referrals to outside mental health services. I would love to hear from as many school counselors as possible on whether you frequently make these referrals. Is this something you can specifically discuss with the parents or do you imply these services may be needed? I have been told in some districts you are never to refer a parent to an outside counselor for their child.
