On 6/23/08, not trying to cause controversy
Me neither but I've certainly noticed there are cultural
differences from culture to culture - ....and though I know
white teachers who do scream, I've noticed that
screaming/yelling is not uncommonly done in African American
schools. I'm not passing judgment on it - it is what it is.
But I'm not a screamer and wouldn't want to be. I don' t
have answers to your guestion but I think it's a fair
question as well as a brave one. When in Rome do we have to
do as the Romans do?
